My opinion on Social Networks

Social networks are social structures composed of groups of people, which are connected by one or more types of relationships such as friendship, kinship, common interests or shared knowledge.
Social network analysis examines the social structure using Graph Theory and identifying the entities as "nodes" or "vertices" and relationships as "links" or "edges". The resulting graph structure is often very complex. As mentioned, there may be many types of links between nodes. Multidisciplinary research has shown that social networks operate on many levels, from family relationships to relationships statewide organizations (in this case we speak of policy networks), playing a critical role in determining the political agenda and the degree to which individuals or organizations reach their goals or are influenced.
In its simplest form, a social network is a map of all relevant links between all nodes studied. We speak here of networks "sociocentric" or "complete." Another option is to identify the network that surrounds a person (in different social contexts in which it interacts), in which case we speak of "personal network".
The social network can also be used to measure social capital (ie the value that an individual obtains the resources available through their social network). These concepts are often in a diagram where the nodes are points and loops, lines.
One of the most popular social networks on facebook where the goal of this site is communication between people from different places or regions, most people use it to communicate with friends or relatives. The disadvantage of this site is that some people can hakear your facebook and be able to wreak havoc on your site and it is no longer safe in addition can you get information about the person you hakearon, in my opinion facebook should have more security lest you can enter your site.

Facebook is a social networking website created by Mark Zuckerberg founded by Eduardo Saverin, Chris Hughes and Dustin Moskovitz Mark Zuckerberg. Originally a site for students of Harvard University, but now is open to anyone with an email account. Users can participate in one or more social networks in relation to their academic status, place of work or geographic region. Has received much attention in the blogosphere and the media to become a platform on which third parties can develop applications and do business from the social network. In mid-2007 launched versions in French, German and Spanish to promote its expansion outside the United States because its users are concentrated in the United States, Canada and Britain. In July 2010, Facebook has 500 million members, and translations into 70 idiomas.1 In May 2011, reaches 600 million users. His main infrastructure consists of a network of over 50 000 servers using distributions of GNU / Linux using LAMP.

The creator of Facebook had created this page just for people from the University of Harvard as it was to ablate with their fellow students but then the right that had the Harvard step for all people so that they use.
